The negative space (under the tree and around to the water, then up to the sky) really catches my eye here. It’s interesting.
Eye-catching is a good compliment. Thank you. I wasn’t thinking specifically about negative space, but it felt important to balance the tree with its misty context.
It’s probably better when you’re not thinking consciously of things like that, and instinct plus experience lead the way.
Beautiful. Almost looks like the medium is pencil.
